When the psychology department of Burnet College is ordered on a healing retreat, Dr. Michael Kurelek turns to family friend Chris Allard for assistance. Chris and his wife Kate travel to Magnolia Bluff, Texas, anticipating a few days work and some good barbeque. Instead, he finds himself trapped in a cabin on the Colorado river during a flash flood, with a team of traumatized psychologists, three students, and at least one psychopath.
